The beautiful Wisteria Blue Dream displays stunning long racemes of up to 50cm, bearing powder blue flowers with a slight yellow eye, and a light fragrance.
Growth habit: Climbing plant up to about 8 till 10 meters high.
Flowers: Very full flower clusters. Color: Light blue.
Flowering time: May – June, late flowering through September.
Prolific has more flowers per truss than other varieties. The individual flower is also larger than average. This means that the Prolific has very beautiful, full flower clusters.
Longwood purple is less vigorous than the asian types, making it more desirable for those who don't like those fast growing types.
It is a less aggressive grower than some of the other wisterias, but is known for its excellent hardiness and ability to produce flowers.
